                    It is the happiness of my mind

                    To pursue the ideal of life.

                    I will go to the mountain over there
                    In many ways
                    Although it is separated by obstacles.
                    The parting may be in my footsteps.

                    Or a vital-forced idea.

                    Sweet or Bitter?
                    Effective or devastating?
                    The mountain, I haven't seen it, now!

                    I was covered with clouds
                    With thunder and storm.
                    As fire and smoke,
                    As ammunition and bombs.

                    But the Mountain
                    I never forget it.
                    I never forget it.

                    In my childhood I stood
                    Under the Kapot-tree.
                    Flowers blossoms above me
                    In the spring days
                    In a deep red.

                    A flock of ... starting twittering, flitting
                    from tree to tree.
                    And then
                    Hurling in to the air.

                    A group of white herons spreading wings
                    On the golden rice field.
                    And a river flowing peaceful.

                    It is the happiness of this country
                    Simple and real.
                    It is also reality.
                    As the mountain
                    standing lofty in the sky.
